CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Software Engineer position for our client in Rochester, MN. **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 12 months **Duties:** + Design and build back-end services that support data-centric clinical and analytic applications. + Ensure cloud-based micro-services adhere to uptime and accuracy targets, are resilient, and scale effectively. + Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to develop applications that benefit users. + Translate requirements into code by working closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Architects. + Develop services around data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning. + Participate in DevOps, Agile, continuous development, and integration frameworks. + Program in high-level languages such as Go, Python, Java, etc. + Maintain documentation of processes and source code. + Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and customers throughout the organization. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues through root cause analysis. + Contribute to design and architecture discussions and mentor junior software engineers. + Lead projects or project steps within broader initiatives and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues. **Skills:** + Google Cloud Platform experience, specifically with Cloud Run, GCP Operations Suite, VPCs, and Networking. + Deploying applications from GitHub Enterprise to Google Cloud via CI/CD. + Familiarity with GCP databases and other GCP APIs/services. + Experience in agile environments and with .NET Core applications. + Ability to diagram Google Cloud and API architectures. + Any GCP certifications are a plus. **Experience:** + Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud computing and microservices. + Proven track record of developing software solutions and applications in a high-level language (C, C++, Golang, Java, C#, etc.). + Experience building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems. **Education:** + Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field is preferred. + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field is required. + An Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience may be considered. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $155,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
