About the role:
We are seeking a creative, passionate, and curious software engineer to create software solutions for our mission critical software development services and solutions that support Nintex’s licensing, and other key customer-facing products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the .NET framework. The software engineer will collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture, write clean and scalable code, and provide technical support throughout the software development lifecycle.
Your contribution will be:
Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages (C# .NET Platform/Core) Own the process of developing new products and features through the development cycle - from inception to delivery Partner with cross functional teams in IT Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and QA Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture Engage and work amongst a small group of software engineers working on the development of an enterprise application Work with Business Analyst/Project Owner to ensure designs meet requirements; analyse business processes and define application workflows focusing on usability Use Agile Tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps to plan and manage development tasks, estimation, project backlog, and capacity planning. Lead and respond to peer code reviews in multiple programming languages Improve existing software and develop documentation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Articulate code design choices clearly and suggest a feasible way forward Analyse and implement technical solutions efficiently, you raise the team’s productivity by spotting opportunities for code re-use. Recognize risks in projects, identify requirement gaps and take appropriate actions promptlyTo be successful, we think you need:
8+ years of hands-on experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer with extensive expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable applications on Azure cloud platforms. Proven track record of leveraging Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Storage, SQL Database, Service Bus etc.) to design and implement robust cloud-based solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Salesforce Lightning and APEX experience is a big plus! Proven experience with .NET languages (Core/Platform), ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC)). Strong understanding of architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC). Experience in integrating with Identity Providers like Azure Active Directory or Auth0 for secured, centralized authentication and authorization across multiple applications and services. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools with hands-on experience in automating build, test, and deployment pipelines. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit for test-driven development (TDD) and ensuring robust code quality. Team player who has strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience with Agile methodologies Demonstrate critical thinking and professional experience by thinking before you code to avoid wasted effort Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.What’s in it for you?
