Key Responsibilities:
Working as part of an agile team to develop quality solutions Collaborating effectively to support and enhance the full product lifecycleReviewing proposals, evaluating alternatives, providing estimates and making recommendationsServing as an expert on applications and providing technical support Revising, updating, refactoring and debugging greenfield and established codebasesSupporting other team members’ developmentExperience/Skills:
Experience of the full development lifecycleStrong communication skills with the ability to explain solutions to technical and non-technical audiencesThe ability to work with offshore teams from different cultures and backgroundWrite clean, scalable code, with a view towards design patterns and security best practices Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse problems and requirementsUnderstanding of Agile methodologiesPassion for continually pushing and improving how we build/test/prove our servicesWe expect you to have considerable experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building mission-critical, high-volume transaction web-based software systems, preferably in regulated environments (finance and insurance industries).QualificationsQualifications
