Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments is seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to add to our growing eCommerce Engineering team. As a member of eCommerce Engineering, you will build and support cutting-edge software solutions, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This is a full-time position located at our headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN. We offer flexible work schedules and hybrid work-from-home options. Job Responsibilities

Work with a diverse, expert team of engineers to build the next generation of our best-in-class ecommerce website, backend integrations, and internal toolsBuild scalable, testable, and reusable code using open-source technologiesSolve complex performance and architectural challengesOwn the development of substantial features from concept to production

Qualifications

Proficiency in PHP or another object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, C++, Golang)5-8 years of professional programming experienceExperience with modern web development technologies such as JavaScript, React, Vue, Node.js, HTML, and CSSSubstantial experience working with relational databases like MySQL or Postgres and the ability to write performant SQL queriesFluency with Git or other version control software
