The Senior Software Development Engineer participates in defining and implementing new product or enhanced current designs of software modules and components that meet functional specifications and target due dates. The incumbent collects, interprets and documents system requirements; leads and/or participates in component, subsystem and system concept design verifying key design parameters and evaluating design options; develops and recommends methods, tools and designs for software development process improvement or development cost reduction; summarizes and presents details of designs, analytical methods and results; and leads and/or participates on multi-functional product research and development teams, product and/or system design reviews.Major in computer or relatedBachelor’s degree in field with 8+ years exp.
