About the Role:

 

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Engineer to join our dynamic Global Data Management team. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining a robust Data Quality framework. You will be responsible for data profiling, creating and executing DQ rules, monitoring data quality issues, and tracking remediation efforts. A strong understanding of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) - DQ and Observability tools is essential. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Data Profiling: Conduct in-depth data profiling to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies. DQ Rule Creation and Monitoring: Develop and implement comprehensive DQ rules to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Data Quality Issue Tracking: Monitor data quality metrics, identify and track data quality issues, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them. Framework Implementation: Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the overall Data Management Framework including Data Quality, Data Lineage and Cataloging components. Collaboration: Work closely with global data management teams, Informatica engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality standards are met. Observability: Leverage observability tools to monitor data pipelines and identify potential issues proactively. Cataloging and Data Marketplace: A strong understanding of data cataloging and data marketplaces is a plus, as it will enable you to effectively manage and govern data assets.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Total 5+ years of experience with 2-7 years of relevant experience in data quality engineering, data profiling, and data governance. Strong knowledge of IDMC - DQ and Observability tools and concepts. Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques. Experience with data integration tools like Informatica PowerCenter or similar. Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

 

 

 

 

Good to have Skills:

Experience with data cataloging and data marketplaces. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with machine learning and AI techniques for data quality improvement.
