What are we looking for?

The Threat Services organization seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join our WatchTower Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end programming and a passion for creating robust, scalable, and efficient applications.
This team is responsible for building software tools for threat hunters and their integrations with other SentinelOne services. This role is a rare opportunity to join an experienced engineering team and contribute to team culture, architecture, design, and delivery of new systems.

What will you do?  Lead and contribute to creating new tools and services, as well as improving existing solutions. You will help us build the next-generation threat-hunting tools using modern technologies such as Python (FastAPI, Celery), Redis, Docker, Kubernetes and contribute to the building of the test environment and infrastructure (PyTest).  Design for scalability, security, and reliability across a global environment You will help identify areas for proactive improvement based on team findings. You will be involved in the whole SW development process - from product discovery, through designing architecture, implementation and testing to delivery to production and subsequent monitoring. What experience and knowledge should you bring? 5+ Proven experience as a Python Engineer, especially in writing performant and scalable FastAPI applications. Bonus points for proficiency in Celery. Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling Experience with PyTest Understanding user requirements and leading the solution delivery, along with attention to details Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
