Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for our AI security initiative and ensure the safe development of our generative AI technology. As Senior Software Engineer – AI Safety, you will be working with a team of engineers to develop ideas and products that safeguard Intuit's generative AI ecosystem. What you'll bring + BS/MS in computer science/engineering or equivalent work experience + At least 8 years of experience in software engineering and security. + Expert knowledge of backend software development (Java and Python) + Experience with AI technologies such as SageMaker, LangChain, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow + Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels - from front line engineers and non-technical stakeholders, to senior leaders in engineering or at the executive level. + Ability to drive velocity while partnering with data science and engineering teams across multiple time zones. How you will lead + Lead development efforts to build software to safeguard our AI ecosystem. + Provide technical leadership and be a role model and mentor to engineers. + Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the risks and potential dangers associated with the use of AI. + Advocate for the highest standards for engineering design, implementation, and testing. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for the use of AI at Intuit, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $161,500-$219,000.
