Amentum is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. Primary work location will be in Fredericksburg, VA or Dahlgren, VA with possible telecommute options. **Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities Include:** + Developing and/or verifying software system specifications and requirements documentation, develop support system software capabilities, features, or enhancements. + Planning, performing, and leading software design, coding, and testing. + Working with customers and engineers in an adaptive Agile environment, build and maintaining the latest software projects for the navy, and helping expand our software capabilities. + Communicating status, risks, issues, and ideas for innovation directly to the PM. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree (in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics) with 20 years of Software Development Experience, Software Design experience in DOD Weapons Systems + Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance.
