Growing together.** **Primary Responsibilities:** Responsible for performing design, coding, unit testing and ensuring conformance to the team’s development process and standards. This includes: + Adherence to and advocacy of environment standards + Review of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completeness + Creation/involvement in documented designs following agreed to design patterns and standards + Coding and unit testing + Support during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications + Working with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activitiesr + Adhere to proper use of source control + Ensuring delivery of technical artifacts for each project + Mentoring developers on technology and application knowledge as needed + Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so **Required Qualifications:** + Experience in XML & Web services (SOAP & RESTFUL) + Experience on Eclipse/IntelliJ Idea and Jboss, Websphere/WebLogic servers + Experience of working in a global environment + Good working knowledge in SPRING Framework & Spring MVC + Sound knowledge of Oracle & SQL + Sound knowledge of SDLC and Agile processes + Knowledge in Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Oracle, MySQL, Angular and Node + Knowledge in Devops, CICD + Exposure to JMS & MQ + Very good in development of web applications using Angular JS, Java, JSP, Servlets, JSP Custom Tags + Ability to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute) + Willing to learn new technology + Proven good communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in Subversion & Maven + Experience in using JUnit / JTest, Groovy & Spock frameworks _At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
