Job DescriptionOur leading-edge Scrum team in the engineering group is looking for a motivated and energetic Software Engineer who is eager to learn and make big changes to our mission critical applications. Key responsibilities include:
Actively participate in requirements gathering sessionsTranslate product requirements into technical solutions through design discussionsEvaluate and recommend technologies, tools or engineering best practicesWrite clean code with plenty of unit and integration testsTroubleshoot issues, including those related to performance and scalabilitySupport your deliverables in productionAdopt Agile processQualificationsBachelors in Computer Science or related majors is REQUIRED5+ years of professional software development experience with a successful track recordProficient in developing software applications using Java and Spring frameworkProficient in unit and integration testing with JUnit and other frameworksExperienced in at least one development tool, such as IntelliJExperienced in REST web services and integrationFamiliar with database technologies and SQLFamiliar with web related technologies, such as JavaScript, CSSFamiliar with code versioning tools such as GithubFamiliar with build pipeline such as JenkinsFamiliar with AWS Cloud DevelopmentAdditional InformationAt SquareTrade you'll have access to:
