Share your resume with us today!** **Primary Responsibilities** + Communicate with technical leads (systems, electrical, mechanical, test, etc.) and SMEs to plan out software system functionality and estimate development schedule + Lead design, development and integration of software with hardware components in a lab environment + Manage tasking for other technical members and plan software development using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) + Unit testing, verification, and documentation of software architecture. + Debug network and serial communications between software and hardware components **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with 8+ years of experience or an MS degree with 6+ years of experience + Possess a strong competency in C# + Experience with hardware integration in a lab environment and analysis of hardware/software compatibility + Experience leading software architecture design + Experience collaborating with other functional groups (systems engineering, electrical engineering, test, etc.) to create a software product + Experience managing a team and assigning tasking within an Agile environment (or equivalent) + Experience with software best practices such as peer reviews, automated testing, and document generation. + Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area + Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience developing with serial communication libraries (ex: RS232, RS485) + Experience using Wireshark and developing software that sends communications over a network (UDP/TCP) **Original Posting Date:** 2025-01-22 While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
