Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 10500 NE 8th Street, 13th Floor, Bellevue, WA 98004
Duties: Responsible for building next generation user flows for the Walmart Payments, including developing features on the Walmart Web Application. Work on building new software features and experiences using JavaScript, React and Typescript. Research new software technologies on JavaScript and develop components for the Walmart Payments Experience. Develop technical product features for the Walmart Payments Experience using the lates frameworks for React. Integrate and consume various REST APIs and GraphQL services to improve the user experience on the Walmart Web Application. Maintain the automated software test suite for all new software features and enhancements that will be developed. Manage the CD/CI pipeline for related software applications. Debug software production issues and provide technical solutions to mitigate customer impact.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
Skills required: Experience with web page development using JavaScript Framework ReactJs. Experience with Object Oriented programming using JavaScript and Typescript. Experience with Server-side development using NodeJs. Experience creating GraplQL api using GraphQL development. Experience with automated build and deployment CI/CD process using Jenkins. Experience in performance improvement for web pages. Experience in responsive web design using CSS and CSS frameworks. Experience building performance metrics using Splunk web console. Experience with Code quality testing using React testing library. Experience in web accessibility Development using NVIDIA and Voice Over (MAC system). Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $137,259/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
