Job Description A financial services client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team in Manhattan, NY, onsite 2 days/week. This is part of a tech transformation initiative and the need for more hands on deck. This person will be responsible for desgining, developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Python, SQL, and DOS batch files. He/she/they will also develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, as well as reports. This person should have strong communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating effectively within the development team. Skills and Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.  · 6+ years of professional software development experience.  · Strong Python programming skills.  · Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.  · Knowledge of DOS batch scripting is required.    Disk Operating System*  · Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.  · Experience with financial services domain is preferred.  · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
