As a senior software engineer on the telemetry ingestion pipeline, your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new features to support customer requirements as well as continuously improving the quality and reliability of services responsible for the delivery of customer data to end-user defined destinations. This involves diagnosing and deploying fixes across deployments that span many regions + Design, test, and develop these services based on internal and external customer requirements + Optimize the movement of data at scale to iteratively reduce latency, improve the cost of running services, and improve performance against SLI/SLOs + Be a mentor to developers in your team and help them grow **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. + 3+ years of experience on architecting, developing, deploying, and monitoring Distributed Systems. + 3+ years of CS fundamentals, experience in building scalable, secure, high-performance products and services. + 3+ years of technical design, problem solving and debugging skills, proven track record in shipping software on time, with high quality. **Other Requirements:** + Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
