The Atlas Team operates at the intersection of Analytics and Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering. We’re seeking a candidate who can think dynamically to help us continue building out our application ecosystem!
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Atlas Team you’ll learn both how our engineering organization works and how to build tools that supercharge our capabilities.
Responsibilities
+ Own front-end development projects using React and Next.js, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
+ Develop reusable components and design systems for consistency across applications
+ Propose UX/UI using a common design language
+ Integrate with REST APIs, and collaborate with backend teams to improve API design
+ Utilize TypeScript for type safety and maintainability
+ Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
+ Monitor system to detect and resolve production issues
+ Identify value by interacting with internal customers and documenting pain points
+ Demonstrate strategic thinking and independent decision making
+ Deliver software solutions that help revolutionize organizational execution
+ Iterate solutions with customer to improve capabilities, increase quality and reduce complexity over time
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ At least 2 years of software engineering experience
OR
+ Master’s degree
OR
+ At least 4 years of software engineering experience
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
+ Proficiency in React.js and Next.js
+ Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
+ Experience with CSS (preferably Tailwind CSS) and responsive design principles
+ Familiarity with backend systems like Node.js and SQL databases
+ Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
+ Strong debugging and optimization skills
+ Experience with Git
+ Experience with Agile
