The Atlas Team operates at the intersection of Analytics and Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering. We’re seeking a candidate who can think dynamically to help us continue building out our application ecosystem! As a Senior Software Engineer on the Atlas Team you’ll learn both how our engineering organization works and how to build tools that supercharge our capabilities. Responsibilities + Own front-end development projects using React and Next.js, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance + Develop reusable components and design systems for consistency across applications + Propose UX/UI using a common design language + Integrate with REST APIs, and collaborate with backend teams to improve API design + Utilize TypeScript for type safety and maintainability + Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers + Monitor system to detect and resolve production issues + Identify value by interacting with internal customers and documenting pain points + Demonstrate strategic thinking and independent decision making + Deliver software solutions that help revolutionize organizational execution + Iterate solutions with customer to improve capabilities, increase quality and reduce complexity over time Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s degree + At least 2 years of software engineering experience OR + Master’s degree OR + At least 4 years of software engineering experience Additional Requirements + Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
