Senior Software Engineer

The selected candidate’s role will involve supporting a key Customer Information System’s ongoing maintenance and evolving integrations with modernized solutions requiring rigorous technical testing and automation. **In this role you will:** + Lead complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments + Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain. + Review complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures + Resolve complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals + Understand the exiting technical stack and help move to target solution as part of modernization work + Lead and be that individual contributor that can make the difference **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 4+ years of recent, hands-on mainframe z/OS Software Engineering development experience in a financial services organization **Desired Qualifications:** + Experience in Mainframe development (JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, Eztrieve) + Understanding or experience with Java, microservices + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are critical + Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills + Communication skills including oral, listening comprehension and writing skills (able to communicate ideas/views clearly) + Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills + Experience in researching and troubleshooting mainframe environments, including familiarity with testing applications + Hogan Customer Information Systems development experience + 4+ years of recent, hands-on SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) compliance experience in delivering mainframe technical solutions + MQ Messaging experience + Kafka experience + Understand of databases DB2, MongoDB, Oracle + Integration and API Development Skills – demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain integrations between systems, and hands-on experience building and managing API’s **Job Expectations:** + Ability to work a hybrid schedule + Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled + Ability to work outside of regular business hours + Relocation assistance is not available for this position + This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship **Posting End Date:** 15 Feb 2025 **_*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants._** **We Value Diversity** At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace; accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
