Principal responsibilities

The IBM Z Storage Engineer is responsible for leading, building and supporting the IBM Z Storage hardware and software infrastructure.

This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:

Perform a Technical Project Management role for large IBM Z infrastrcutre projects. Setup automation to reduce manaual interventions in the Storage infrastructure.Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity.Risk and Cost Management.Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered platform services.Business stakeholder management.Vendor liason and management.IBM Z Storage hardware/Software design, configuration, implementation and support.Disaster Recovery Drill practice.Monitor the capacity of IBMz products.
