Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 10500 NE 8th St Suite 100, (13th Floor), Bellevue, WA 98004

Duties: Design and develop augmented reality graphics and experiences for various platforms. Create visually appealing and immersive AR content that aligns with Walmart's brand and marketing goals. Write and optimize code for graphics rendering in AR applications. Implement visual effects, shaders, and other graphical elements to enhance the AR experience. Create 3D models and animations for use in AR applications. Collaborate with artists and designers to ensure the integration of high-quality graphics into AR projects. Integrate AR technology with existing Walmart applications or platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AR graphics into the overall user experience. Optimize graphics performance for various devices to ensure a smooth AR experience. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in graphics rendering. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AR graphics technology. Explore and experiment with new tools and techniques to enhance AR experiences.  Work closely with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality AR graphics solutions. Conduct testing and debugging of AR graphics to ensure functionality, performance, and visual quality meet the specified requirements. Create and maintain documentation for AR graphics development processes and best practices.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience programming in object-oriented languages including C++, Python, Java, C#, and JavaScript. Experience training machine learning model using TensorFlow, pytorch, Mx net, and Onnx. Experience designing and testing relational database management systems provided by Azure including Azure SQL, and MySQL. Experience with Parallel computing and deep learning. Experience implementing features using Graphics Libraries including OpenGl and DirectX. Experience implementing high performing algorithms using CUDA and cuDNN. Experience with Unit testing and Automation testing for the APIs. Experience developing Flask web application for graphics projects. Experience designing and developing UI components. Experience with procedural generation of 3D models using modelling software including Blender, Maya, and ZBrush. Experience with Live Documentation of the development process. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $190,486/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
