We expect all our engineers to be self-starters and our Senior Software Engineers to be leaders bringing drive, ideas and acumen. Our goal is to motivate and challenge people to do their best work. Bottom line, if you have a limitless drive and like to win, we want to talk to you - come make history! **Responsibilities** + Build our cloud native protection software using your strong background in distributed systems and cloud. + Taken on open ended problems and drive the investigation and initial scoping + Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software. + Own individual project execution and delivery + Mentoring and guidance to other team members + Collaborate with partner teams such as Product Management, QA, UI, UX, documentation and support teams. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field + 4+ years of relevant work experience, + Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages like Go, Java, C/C++, Scala, Python + Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP or other public cloud technologies is a plus. + Knowledge of Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, microservice architectures is a plus. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to review deeply and expertly design and code artifacts. + Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, design patterns, and software engineering principles. Understanding of continuous improvement principles and what it means to raise the bar. + Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills. Track record of mentoring other team members.
