Most of the Australian division are working on Unit Registry (referred to as Transfer Agency around the world) technology and services. SS&C Managed Funds Administration (MFA) is the largest provider of Unit Registry services in Australia, providing Fund Manager, Custodians and end to end service offering. What is the opportunity?We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Registry team.
The Core Registry team is one of two engineering teams within the Managed Funds Administration business of SS&C and is responsible for our investment management and fund administration front ends, used primarily by investors and financial advisers.
This is a key role in enabling the successful execution of our Core Strategy to become an industry-leading Fund Administration service in Australia.

What you’ll bringDemonstrated experience of front and back-end development skills and technologies including one of the following:VB6, vb.net, c#JavaKotlinExperience in large monolithic legacy systemsExperience with relational databases (MS SQL Server desired)Experience with Cloud and container architectures highly desiredStrong software engineering fundamentals – Object Oriented and/or functional programming, Design Patterns and Domain Driven Design, Test Driven DevelopmentTest automation experience, including Unit, Integration and End-to-End User Interface automationExperienced with modern software tooling such as CI/CD platforms (e.g. Jenkins), Github, Datadog, code scanning tools such as SonarqubeSolid understanding of the full SDLC (Problem to Solution)Experience in utilizing Continuous Delivery concepts to deliver software into Production environments Education and qualification: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent industry experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer)Minimum 6 years' experience in similar role(s)Key behaviours:
