**Job Summary:** We are looking for a passionate, fully hands-on Full-Stack Developer to work with our Pervasive Sensing team. This person will work independently and as a part of a team to develop user interface and web applications built for a variety of platforms (VMs, small Linux computers, cloud). This position includes design and architecture of software features, working with designers and product managers to understand the features, and implementation of both the client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end). You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance. **For this Role, You Will Need:** + Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in building and shipping professional software + Deep understanding of the complexities in writing web applications for both on-prem and cloud deployment. + Front-End experience with Web-Components, Angular, React web-framework, bootstrap, HTML5, Sass etc.. + Back-end experience with NodeJS web service frameworks and RESTful resource implementation. C#, Golang and Python knowledge desirable. + Experience with unit testing frameworks – Chai, Jest and Mocha. + Experience with Docker, Databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), Web Application Security and setting up CI/CD pipelines. + Experience with Revision Control Systems + Proficiency with both adaptive and responsive designs + Proficiency in working with Linux systems and Microsoft's Azure cloud platform + Ability to work in a complex team structure, including distributed teams + Strong communication skills + A passion for developing products with the best user experience **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field + Familiarity with agile techniques **Our Offer To You:** By joining Emerson, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
