Position Summary: Senior Software Engineering Manager, at Perforce is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Helix DAM team. Undertakes complex assignments as part of a team, requiring guided development of new or improved products, or processes. Applies technology principles to specific tasks within area of specialisation. May own small projects / manage small client relationships independently from senior technical experts.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applicationsDesign and develop distributed systems, ensuring fault tolerance, scalability, and performanceConduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practicesIdentify and troubleshoot software defects and performance bottlenecksStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends an apply them to improve software development processes and outcomesContribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and practices within the teamMay be required to support additional products/brands as neededRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)Strong proficiency in configuration management practices and toolsSolid understanding of modern cloud applications and concepts, such asfault tolerance, scalability, and consistencyExperience in developing and maintaining software applications in acollaborative team environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and address complex technical challengesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work within a cross-functional teamVery solid and deep Javascript hands-on experience with current/prior knowledge of Ember.JSOctane syntax is a plus, but not required (newer Ember syntax)At least 5+ years of overall experienceProven track record of self-sufficiency, and good eye for detailPrimarily focused on working alongside a backend developer and existing designs to deliver new features, expand existing and keep the codebase maintainableGood communication Core Javascript knowledge (MUST HAVE)Self-sufficient and inquisitive Independently being able to understand code, add new features and deliver without much hand-holdingOctane syntax experience is a plusReact experience is a plusCome work with us!
