What You'll do as a Senior Software Engineer:
+ Design, implement, and maintainscalable software systemsto support data-driven applications and mission-critical workflows.
+ Develop and optimizeback-end solutionsusing C#, ASP.NET, and SQL for managing large datasets and complex processing.
+ Collaborate with Web Application Developers to integrate front-end interfaces with robust back-end infrastructures.
+ Architect and deploy systems to streamlinedata collection, processing, and storageacross cloud and on-premises environments.
+ Ensure high system performance, reliability, and scalability through effective code design, testing, and optimization.
+ Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
+ Support system updates, configuration, and troubleshooting inLinux (RHEL)environments.
+ Implement security best practices in compliance withDoD standards, ensuring systems are resilient against potential threats.
+ Work withinAgile development teamsto deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
Job Requirements
What You Bring to the Team:
+ Active TS/SCI clearancewith SCI eligibility (required).
+ Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 7+ yearsof IT experienceand 5+ yearsin software engineering or back-end development.
+ CurrentSecurity+ CEor equivalent DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (https://f.hubspotusercontent10.net/hubfs/9314269/WillcoTech\_DoD-8140-Baseline-Cert.pdf?hsCtaTracking=8ad7b0ae-fe3f-4c5a-980b-3b8f979e379c%7C27c8ce70-b1fb-46f0-8b8b-d9eb7f13494a)
+ Strong proficiency inC# and SQL(required).
+ Experiencedesigningandimplementing scalable system architectures.
+ Familiarity with data transformationprocessesandtools for large-scale analytics.
+ Strong knowledge ofAgile development practices(e.g., Scrum, XP).
+ Experience troubleshooting and maintainingLinux systems (RHEL).

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is$160,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
