The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced Backend Engineers to expand our Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) Self-Service team in Serbia. The team was established a year ago and it has already made relevant contributions to the NCM solution. As a member of the team you will have a rare opportunity to architect, design and develop a Multi-Cloud/Hybrid-Cloud data product, solving some of the most interesting problems encountered by large Enterprises in the industry today.

 

About the Team

NCM Self-Service is a product that enables application lifecycle management (ie, deployment, upgrades, scale-in, scale-out, DR, etc.) for applications deployed in any public (ex: AWS, GCP) or private (ex: VMWare, Nutanix) Cloud. NCM Self-Service empowers developers, IT admins, and DevOps engineers to streamline their technical operations, extend applications over multiple clouds and centralize control of operations.

What You Will Bring

Excellent design and coding skills in any one of Python, GoExperience building scalable fault tolerant distributed or cloud-native systemsAbility to collaborate and solve broad problems spanning multiple teamsAbility to understand customer requirements and translate that to design and codeBachelor’s and Master’s (preferred) in Computer Science5+ years of relevant industry experience Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
