U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer (Pega) (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for the architecture, design, and development of CASPER workflows for Enhanced Card Issuing Capabilities project.Implement class structures and data models, code libraries, reusable components and frameworks using Enterprise class structures, activities, data transforms and other core Pega rules in Pega 8.x.Create integration components to integrate GraphQL and JMS service through connectors.Create services for external application using Service rules in Pega 8.x and optimizing Pega background jobs.Plan backlogs and manage agile teams’ story and task assignments, planning incremental deployment to production.Implement workflow optimization by removing the redundance service calls, replacing existing background agent with Kafka based queue processors.Conduct reviews of work of other team members, manage project issues and risks and be responsible for delivery of Onsite and Offshore software.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 5 years of related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software engineering / architecture experience using Pega PRPC, Pega CPM and Pega BIX.

Required Skills/Experience:


Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Developing Pega case management rules, decision strategies, enterprise class structure; and developing reusable libraries, reusable components, background jobs and reusable components, parsers and analyzers using Java/J2EE, C/C++, Java Script, HTML, Shell scripts. 2) Developing Pega end to end solutions and workflow performance optimization, background jobs performance optimization using Kafka, Elastic Search. 3) Developing road maps for Pega version upgrades, project implementation, project backlog and managing Agile teams’ story and task assignments; and developing Pega applications using Pega out of the box, Pega CPM, Pega BIX. 4) Conducting reviews of work of other team members, managing project issues and risks and being responsible for delivery of Onsite and Offshore software. 5) Developing Dev Ops CICD pipelines using Jenkins and Pega Deployment Manager for incremental deployment to production and developing monitoring scripts for Splunk, Kibana and Service now integration. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

This position is with U.S. Bank National Association, a U.S. Bank company. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $149,781 - $176,100. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
