As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute innovative ideas and tools to support one of our major initiatives supporting products across our platform. You will collaborate with a highly professional team to ensure the timely delivery of products and maintain elevated development practices and standards.
How does this Position help VTS Succeed?
You’ll be a key contributor to our goal of accelerating the way space providers and occupiers plan, market, lease, and manage space. In this role you will: Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, QA, and other business partners to discover and solve challenges for our customers and internal teams Have organization-wide impact through your work, technical writing and advocacy, mentorship, recruiting, etc. Help improve the customer experience of using the VTS’ various productsTo thrive in this role you should have:
Demonstrable experience building web applications using modern technologies like Go, Typescript, React, etc. Proficiency architecting solutions to problems in a thoughtful way with care taken to avoid or resolve technical debt A track record of collaborating with other engineers towards a common goal, leveraging code reviews, architecture design reviews, test automation, and pairing Experience working closely with product managers, designers, and QA, demonstrating strong customer empathy and desire to deliver a high-quality user experience Experience authoring CI/CD workflows Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and observability tools like Datadog, Newrelic, or othersWhat VTS Values & How We Show It Strive for Excellence - We know your potential is unlimited.
