This role in summary

Senior Software Project Engineer - Android Developer

Your responsibilities will include

Design and implement an overarching solution that performs at scale, exhibits elegant software design and ensures a great user experience.

Technically lead a team of mobile/web software development engineers in charge of delivery of the next generation of mobile applications and services. 

Provide technical and architectural leadership to the team

Execute on a strategic direction and architecture for software and services, drive priorities, and reconcile with technology context

Design and build the mobile APIs and apps (iOS & Android) that will be the mobile face of our company

Provide leadership and creativity around innovation in service models, user interface and mobile customer experience

Work with the platform team to define needs and APIs that will provide the best integrated experience

BE/ BTECH (Comp Sc/ IT) or equivalent from reputed institutes

Preferred skills and experiences

3+ years of leading technology teams with experience in Mobile technologies and Software application technologies

5 to 7 years related strong experience in mobile development with emphasis on API, data and transaction services

5+ years leading complex technical projects that included coordination with a third-party vendor and internal departments.

Proven experience working with 3rd party partners in defining joint solutions and integrating key services

Strong UI/design skills, creativity, leadership in driving a great customer experience

Strong analytical expertise, including the ability to analyze data to extract actionable insights.

Thorough understanding of mobile, including devices, technologies and applications.

Proven professional experience and current expertise in emerging channels, web based services and/or mobile services for electronic product lines.

5+ years Android app development experience

Additional information

Technically lead a team of mobile software development engineers in charge of delivery of the next generation of mobile applications and services.
