Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Software Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, focusing on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our embedded operating system running on our PLCs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and quality engineers, to develop and execute test plans, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement in our software development processes.Key Responsibilities:•\tTest Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement test plans, including automated and manual testing for embedded systems.•\tDefect Management: Identify, document, and collaborate on resolving software bugs.•\tProcess & Documentation: Improve testing processes and maintain accurate test reports.•\tCross-Team Collaboration: Work with engineering teams on software requirements and design.
Qualifications for the roleEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on embedded systems.Programming: Proficiency in C and C#.Embedded Systems: Experience with RTOS, PLCs, and industrial automation standards (IEC 61131).CI/CD & Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Ranorex).Software Testing: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
