Senior Solution Architect

As a Sr. Solution Architect, you will work in architecture team in driving the company’s technological vision, leading the design and implementation of our solutions architecture to meet business needs. The Sr. Solution Architect is responsible for providing technical leadership in the solution and implementation design of Intelex software during the entire customer cycle. The position works closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, product, and services teams, to ensure that our technology solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with industry best practices. The position requires a deep understanding of design and configuration in our platform; as well as excellent communication and planning skills.   

Responsibilities and Deliverables 

Design and implement a robust solutions architecture framework that integrates with existing systems and infrastructure while allowing for future scalability.     Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and governance to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.    Mentor and assist the Sales and Services team in presenting complex solutions that will require heavy app builder work to be viable.   Help Services team to translates client requirements into an Intelex solution design, including workflow and configuration architecture, that will meet client’s overall business objectives while maintain a consideration for cost, timeline, and user experience targets.  Leads the creation/maintenance of configuration guidelines and best practices in order to ensure efficient, reusable configuration detail is produced by the team and measured through regular reviews.  Conducts technical risk assessments through experience, analysis, prototyping and research.  Mentor and assist the Sales and Services team in presenting complex solutions that will require heavy app builder work to be viable

Qualifications 

Skills & Work Traits 

Required: 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.   Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.   Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.    Creative and innovative thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends.    Proficiency in modern software architecture practices, cloud-based solutions, and agile methodologies.   

Preferred: 

Experience in the environmental, health, safety and Quality (EHSQ) software industry or similar regulated industries.   

Technical Competencies 

Required: 

Strong understanding of application architecture and design principles.  Solid understanding of web-based application architectures, including a comprehensive grasp of both server-side and browser-side operations.  Knowledge of object-oriented design principles.  Familiarity with data organization, including database schemas, table relationships, and SQL query formulation.  Software and integration configuration experience.   Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI. 

Preferred: 

Familiarity with Intelex’s product suite and the broader EHS technology landscape.   A strong portfolio showcasing successful deployment of solutions that have driven business transformation. 

Experience 

Required: 

5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing software solutions.   Strong understanding of application architecture and design principles.   Experience with implementing enterprise and multi-tenant software solutions.   Working and up-to-date knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.  

Education 

Required:  

Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience. 

Preferred: 

Professional certifications in software architecture or design (e.g., TOGAF, CTA).
