Senior Solution Architect - Product Information Management
Overview The Sr. Solution Architect – Product Information Management (PIM) will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role will focus on the platforms that enable product master data capabilities, including metadata management, item creation and lifecycle management, enrichment, internationalization/localization, and syndication. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system architecture, experience with cloud platforms, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions. Responsibilities Lead and support the design and architecture of complex IT systems, ensuring that they meet the Develop and implement architectural frameworks and methodologies to guide the design and integration of various technology components. Ensure that solutions are aligned with the organization's enterprise architecture and technology standards and maintain connection between business architecture (function and processes) and technical solutions. Collaboration with Product and Technology Lead to validate and challenge the best technical approach to ensure Enterprise mindset. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into technical specifications and solution designs. Present and communicate architectural designs and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and provide value to the organization. Promote best practices in software development, integration, and architecture within the team and the broader organization. Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant security, regulatory, and performance standards in collaboration with Enterprise architects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of architectural practices and processes. Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance. Lead ongoing analysis of legacy technology (primarily Mainframe), including capability rationalization, and planning and executing all aspects of modernization and legacy decommissioning. Evaluate SaaS, Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), low-code/no-code, and proprietary technology solutions for existing and emerging business needs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, or a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures with a focus on optimization. Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns. Solid understanding of data architecture and data integration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. Practical hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting SaaS or on-prem commercial PIM solutions, such as Syndigo, Stibo, Salsify, or Informatica. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures. Practical hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Syndigo PIM/MDM. Practical hands-on experience assessing, , and decommissioning legacy on-prem technology, such as .net/SQL Server, AS/400, or Mainframe. Benefits The annual base salary range is $115,000 - $170,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
