Senior Solution Architect - ServiceNow

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for providing guidance and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. A Senior Solution Architect has a high-level of understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, API’s and mobile application design. Experience preferred: ITSM, ITILv3. Certifications preferred: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist.

Lead and mentor other developers (business, information, application, software, technology) to ensure the highest standard of technical quality. Fulfills technical designing, creating, documenting, and communicating the integration approach of all the components of the architecture. Research, analyze, determine capabilities and propose solution alternatives that address specific business needs and product/service strategies across Businesses Lines. Educates clients and negotiates the right technical solutions. Deliver a positive and value-add experience to clients in every interaction. Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, designing tools and techniques to deliver efficiently. Ensure each artifact produced, each configured technical component, and all personal interactions are of the highest quality. Acts as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a program. Team building: Build teams that can execute. Provide technical coaching and oversight to other developers/architects. Define domain specific evaluation processes for hiring that fits market needs. Interviewing to screen and identify the best candidates. Periodic evaluation of the team capabilities Define emerging skill sets that team needs and identify training needs. Align resource requirements based on demand projections. Records resource training and development plans in partnership with HR Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology is preferred or other degree with significant related IT and leadership experience. Post-graduate in Software related topics is desired 4+ years working on the ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM) Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSM: Orchestration, Discovery, Project Portfolio, SecOps, Agent Intelligence or other predictive models Knowledge of ITIL v3 required 5 year of experience in General Consulting, Service Management and Software Development 4+ years of multiple platform configuration 2 + years of senior technical experience

The annual salary for this position is between $119,000.00 – $140,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
