This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for:  a Senior Solutions Architect. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that meet the business objectives of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to understand client requirements, assess technical feasibility, and develop scalable and robust architecture solutions. Your expertise in cloud technologies, software development practices, and system integration will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Duties:

Lead  the planning, definition, and high-level design of software and system integrationMentor and coach developers with industry best practices Collaborate with management and developers to reduce technical debtResearch, identify, and explore software solution alternativesLead systems design and API integrations with existing applications, systems, and platformsPerform cost and performance of a solution and evaluate tradeoffs.Establish Best Practices for software development and provide code and best practices reviewsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices and standardsAssess technical risks and define mitigation strategiesDefine and decide, plan, and document the right technical strategy and approach that will best support long-term team plans and goals.Work with third-party vendorsPartner with Product Manager to design and create user stories and future visionTactical Hands-on coding is sometimes requiredWork with management to drive and plan projects that meet deliverable dates Provide guidance and support to project managers, engineers, and developers throughout each project's lifecycle

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

Experience designing innovative solutions while balancing limitationsExperience in a SaaS environment and with microservices architectureDeep understanding of API Design and cloud infrastructureUnderstanding of software development and deployment life cycles Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with information processing fundamentals and best practicesAbility to prioritize tasks, especially when under pressureAbove-average leadership and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work in a very diverse multicultural environmentAble to develop and document technical initiatives into practical strategies

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of formal related experience or equivalent military and/or work experienceExperience with Node.JS, React, AWS, GitHub, APIs, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, ExpressJS, Jenkins, and Middleware/proxy development, Mobile DevelopmentAWS Solutions Architect CertificationAPI Management and Product Development experience 2+ years of Customer-facing/consulting experience preferredTelephony experience preferred

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $135,000 and $163,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
