A Director - Solutions Specialist plays a crucial role in driving the pre-sales function for the Corporate segment, designed to help our customers decode risk and unlock opportunity. Solutions Specialists are responsible for understanding client workflows and aligning Moody’s solutions to meet their needs, in addition to demonstrating and showing the value of Moody’s solutions through proof-of-concepts, demos and evaluations. This position requires a deep understanding of Moody’s extensive product offerings and the specific business concerns facing our clients. The role involves direct engagement with clients, product teams, and sales teams, requiring a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field a plus.Customer facing experience and comfort leading sales calls.Sales mentality, a commercial mindset specifically a drive to win new customers.7+ years of experience in a client-facing role within the financial services, information services, or data analytics industries, preferably with exposure to software as a service solutions.Proven ability to analyze business processes and workflows, with a knack for identifying efficiency improvements.Experience with complex sales cycles is a plus.Demonstrated experience in technical sales including data and software as a service solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to travel up to 30%.Interest in learning or past experience with Spark, SQL, Python for API development is highly encouraged, but not required. Interest in or past experience with Trade Credit, Supplier Risk, TPRM, MDM/Sales and Marketing use-cases in the Corporate market.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $117,200- $170,000 depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
