Job Description
Ensure that all sourcing and ongoing partner management activities are compliant with the Reserve Bank’s Guidance Note 5 and material outsourcing requirements.Liaise with product owners and squads to guide and assist them through sourcing and procurement, identifying economies of scale and cost saving opportunities in the process.
Assist product owners and squads to build mutually beneficial and meaningful relationships with their partners. Design, implement and maintain processes to meet the Bank’s regulatory requirements to manage third-party risk.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Ensure efficient processes are implemented and maintained to enable effective third-party risk management when sourcing new partners and managing existing partners.Design, implement and manage processes aligned to the Banks standards, policies and regulatory requirements to manage ongoing partner performance management.Manage reporting on contractual requirements and deviations for all partner contracts.Ensure compliance with the Reserve Bank Guidance Notes for all partner engagements.Engage with squads and ensure sourcing requirements are compliant with standards.Ensure alignment with procurement and sourcing policies and procedures providing guidance to squadsEnsure that procurement and sourcing are compliant with the relevant regulations specifically SARB outsourcing guidance notes.Manage governance processes including communications with partners and squadsEnsure regular engagement with partners and assist squads with engagements with their partnersCompliance Reporting to the Reserve Bank in line with the guidance note requirements.ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field. (Finance, Technology, Procurement)Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on digital products and services.An advanced understanding of Cloud Computing technologies, architectures, and standards as well as a thorough understanding of SaaS business models.Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirementsKnowledge of procurement processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other procurement-related software.The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit.
