Roles and Responsibilities

Partners with operations team and commodity finance leaders to support business performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Cash)Responsible for financial support on deal underwriting, supplier/contract management, and cost/cash optimization projectsOwns monthly close reporting for commodity including reporting of financial metrics & analysis in support of monthly operating review with Sourcing GM & Sourcing CFOContributes to commodity level strategy through key planning cycles (annual strategy & budget processes)Leverages analysis & data to support recommendations and provide insight to commodity operations teamsDrive horizontal projects within sourcing finance team to improve process standardization, simplification, and automation to reduce overall team workloadCommunicate complex messages to others and explain difficult informationWork through areas of ambiguity and partner with cross functional teams in operations & finance to problem solve and benchmark best practicesUses financial expertise & sound judgement to drive a high level of controllership & compliance at all times

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in the Finance function5+ years experience in Finance with increased levels of responsibility
