The Sr. Sourcing Manager, PMO Source will focus on enhancing the overall approach and program management for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing direct material costs and reducing overall product COGS. This role is designed to oversee and advance continuous improvement projects, working closely with supply chain procurement teams and key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and complete project execution. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will also drive the development and implementation of new value creation strategies, fostering a strong pipeline and refining end-to-end orchestration and portfolio optimization practices in close collaboration with Supply Chain. Additionally, this position will play a critical role in managing both tail spend and indirect spend by fostering strong internal stakeholder engagement and building solid partnerships with key external suppliers. Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/. **Major Duties & Responsibilities** + Program Management of overall Source cost improvements program in collaboration with Supply Chain Procurement team and Vision Lean Promotion Office to evolve ideation process and approach to develop and sustain value delivery pipeline (short /mid/long term) + Procurement Lead for Type II projects and programs in collaboration with Supply Chain, Lifecycle Management, and Procurement teams. This includes identifying initiatives and streamlining overall processes to establish a robust pipeline aimed at achieving Long-Range Financial Plan (LRFP) goals, optimizing resource utilization, ensuring timely execution, and enhancing ROI ratios. + Develop and implement a Tail Spend management strategy to drive effective and agile supplier management, while maintaining high service levels and cost competitiveness. + Collaborate with Indirect Procurement teams to design and implement value creation strategies for Vision, while ensuring financial accountability from ideation to execution + Lead portfolio performance management by leveraging data and analytics, tracking performance, and using scorecards, while ensuring accurate financial reporting for cost improvement programs in alignment with the financial calendar and key updates + Lead efforts in collaboration with Finance, Procurement Team, and key GP improvement owners across the end-to-end supply chain to facilitate monthly financial plan reporting. This includes savings, MM, OPV, Spend, expenses, and capital investments across all business planning reports, such as LRFP, BP, JU, and NU, to establish a robust savings pipeline that supports GP improvements glidepath for Vision + Manage relevant project activity, conducts project reviews, monitors dependencies, report status, and raise issues. Ensure measurable deliverables across each phase of the project lifecycle. + Create and deliver presentations to leadership on project goals, plans, issues, and risks, including progress reports, mitigation, and contingency plans. + Develop and revise project plans, work with partners to understand complex problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution in a timely manner, escalating as necessary to meet timelines. + Keep manager and key project partners updated on project issues, issue resolution, risks, and overall status of Source projects. + Promptly escalate challenges (tactical and organizational) and roadblocks through the appropriate channels; including resolution recommendation and drive / enable execution thereafter. + Sets the standard for timeliness, work ethic, and personal integrity. **Qualifications - External** **Requirements/Qualifications:** + Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, preferably complemented by other Master’s qualification + Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably inside and outside Procurement and similar sectors or industries **Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** · Strong program management skills in supply chain functional pillars · Strong business and finance acumen, deep understanding of managing for impact in complex matrix environment · Thrive in fast-paced environments, is flexible, collaborative and deadline driven · Ability to work independently, lead complexity and take ownership for deliverables · Builds relationships across stakeholders – internally, externally and spanning global geographies – and ability to work up, down and lateral across the organization · Ability to engage, interact and negotiate value enhancing relationships with external partners · Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, polished presentation, and organizational skills · Excellent executive presence and communication · Ability to travel up to 10% Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
