Senior Sous Chef - Holborn Dining Room
Job Description Role
We are currently looking for a Senior Sous Chef – Holborn Dining Room to join our Culinary team at Rosewood London. The Senior Sous Chef – Holborn Dining Room reports directly to the Head Chef and is responsible for the day to day running of the Holborn Dining Room Kitchen.  

Key expectations of this roleObserving methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner. Maximising the effectiveness of associates by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and mentoring.Consistently maintains established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.Reviews menus, analyses recipes, determines food, labour, overhead costs and assigns prices to menu items.Effectively running the service on a day to day basis and supporting the Head Chef.

ProfileThe ability to demonstrate leading and developing people effectively.Proven culinary skills in a high volume, upscale brasserie restaurant environment.The ability to build strong relationships with the floor team of Holborn Dining Room.Being able to make impactful decisions independently through problem solving.
