Ascension is actively seeking an experienced Senior Specialist to join our dynamic Brand Creative team. This pivotal role involves the design and development of compelling and visually impactful creative assets, from concepting to execution. The ideal candidate will be a conceptual thinker who brings big ideas to life through differentiated and unexpected visual concepts, smart design, and a high standard for your craft.

 

Partner with Strategists, Creative Directors/leads, Copywriters and members of our creative team to bring insight-driven creative concepts to life with thought-provoking creative solutionsApply your expertise in art direction and design to a wide range of cross-channel creative such as identity development, campaign collateral, presentation narratives, video, UI/UX, digital display, email, and print collateralDemonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends, while keeping the pulse of advertising and design industry shifts and best practicesConfidently articulate creative ideas within internal creative reviews and brainstormsAct as a steward for our brand, responsible for maintaining consistency of visual identity across all experiencesPartner with market management and strategy teams to ensure creative is on brief, on time and on strategy

 


Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences Educational Background:Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in advertising, design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Experience:5+ years of experience in an advertising agency, design studio or highly strategic in-house agency.Industry Experience:Previous experience in a direct to consumer brand, healthcare, hospitality, or financial services industry is advantageous.Creativity and Innovation:An impeccable visual aesthetic paired with a firm understanding of the fundamentals of design (layout, hierarchy, typography, color, and image selection)A world-class portfolio that demonstrates conceptual design work with flawless execution across all channels (must include examples of digital, social, print, motion, and identity work)A sharp attention to detail when creating assetsA big thinker, tirelessly searching for the breakthrough ideas and conceptsHighly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Google SuiteProject Management:Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.Communication Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex creative concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills, working effectively in cross-functional teams.Adaptability:Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing creative landscape.Ethical Standards:High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding Ascension’s values and mission.
