**The Role** : As a Senior Specialist in our Digital Analytics team, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to create a data-driven culture and enhance Scholastic’s digital presence. This team is our center of excellence for organic digital analytics and optimization. This is a hands-on role that will directly help drive growth by providing end-to-end reporting and analytics to boost site merchandising, promotions, functionality, and overall website experience. You will work closely with the business to help them make key decisions using data.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
The Senior Specialist’s responsibilities require a mix of technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively. This includes:
+ **Data Collection and Analysis** : Gathering data from various digital channels (web, mobile apps, social media) and analyzing it to identify trends and insights.
+ **Reporting and Visualization** : Creating detailed reports and dashboards to visualize data and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
+ **Campaign Performance** : Assessing the performance of digital marketing campaigns and identifying optimization opportunities across different channels.
+ **Technical Implementation** : Managing and implementing analytics tags (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) to ensure accurate data collection.
+ **A/B Testing and Optimization** : Designing and conducting A/B or multivariate tests to inform digital strategy and improve user experience. Identifying and implementing optimization opportunities to improve digital performance and user engagement.
+ **Collaboration** : Working closely with IT, marketing, and other departments to ensure that analytics requirements are met and to support various projects.
+ **Data Quality** : Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data by working with data quality teams and setting up systematic monitors.
**Experience:**
+ 3-5 years of Digital Analytics experience
+ Ability to analyze data, build dashboards, and generate business insights with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
+ Can manipulate, aggregate, enrich, and connect data using domain-specific tools with minimal supervisory support
+ Experience with A/B Testing – designing test plans, interpreting results, and calculating significance
+ Strong ability to interpret data and find insights
+ Proven track record of working in a team setting to collaborate and execute on projects
+ Strong project management skills
+ Strong communication skills to be able to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Experience building PowerPoint presentations to communicate key business insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Executive presentation skills preferred
+ Experience with SQL or Python preferred
+ Experience with BI/Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Economics. MBA or graduate degree preferred
