Senior Specialist, Studio Operations Senior Photographer

Position Purpose:

The Senior Photographer role is responsible for the execution and production demands of complex lifestyle, silo, and 360 photography, and videography. 

This position works closely with the Interior Design & Art Direction team, Producers, Set Grips, and Post-Production to develop assets utilized in marketing and digital channels. The Senior Photographer role is expected to demonstrate innovative problem-solving solutions, inspired leadership, effective communication and successfully deliver projects on time and within budget. The position requires an aptitude to perform at a high level independently and with a team, both in studio and on location. The Senior Photographer must implement advanced lighting techniques and solutions as well as influence set design to increase efficiency and quality.  



Key Responsibilities:

40% - Communication - Partner with stakeholders to communicate project objectives. Daily studio and project communication to keep projects on track.60% - Strategic Production Management - Leads the strategic task of understanding the clients’ needs and wants, what the team can produce, and what works for the production team holistically. Expected to demonstrate thought leadership and creative problem-solving to meet production objectives. Uses experience and knowledge of production process and guides team members.

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
 

Physical Requirements:

Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or olderMust be legally permitted to work in the United States

7 years of professional, commercial photography experience highly preferredLifestyle, silo, and 360 digital photography experience in a studio environmentBasic videography in a studio environmentCapture One software experienceDigital camera systems experienceA professional portfolio that demonstrates a working knowledge of digital photography, including lighting, composition, color quality, and strong aestheticsAbility and desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environmentStrong attention to detail

Minimum Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
