Job Description:
The purpose of the Systems Engineering and Integration and Test engineer position is to synthesize and define test processes for complex Autonomous Undersea Vehicle (AUV) systems. Coordinate assembly level through system level integration and test activities and ensure that technical obligations are fulfilled.
Summary: Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management. Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight. Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
Nature of Supervision: Work is performed with general oversight. May manage large projects or processes that are both inside and outside of immediate job area. Typically responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees. Typically responsible for managing complex projects at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products.

Synthesize and define Software System architecture, requirements, and interfaces for complex Autonomous Undersea Vehicle (AUV) systemsCoordinate system level requirements internally and among subcontractors and suppliers. Work with Project Engineer, other engineers and other departments to ensure that all technical contractual obligations are fulfilled. Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) developmentAdhere to budget and schedule commitments supported Earned Value Management reporting. Support Proposal and Business Development efforts including developing technical architectures, generating basis of estimates, and performing trade studies.Perform engineering design analysis to establish validity of designs.
