In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
To review, draft, and negotiate agreements and transaction documents in compliance with applicable policies and legal and ethical standards. To take the Contracts Lead role on complex international and multi-BU project contracts and complex frame agreements (multi-BU and -WA). To collaborate with customers, vendors, members of the legal team, and other Emerson partners to bring deals to closure. To analyze business, financial, and legal risks. To research information on existing agreements and contractual programs, assisting with analysis and compiling data for reports. To provide contract-related guidance to sales, project management, procurement, and other collaborators. To participate in the approval process to assist business owners in making informed decisions and securing appropriate approvals.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 5+ years of work experience in a contract-related role. Extensive knowledge of contract law and principles, commercial provisions such as warranty, liquidated damages/penalties, payment and freight terms, documentary credits, and bank guarantees/sureties. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Willing to be on a fixed-term status for 6 monthsPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart
Completion of IACCM Advanced Contract and Commercial Management (CCM) Practitioner and IACCM Oil & Gas Contracting in Practice is strongly preferred.
