Senior Specialist - Data Management
We will count on you to:
Define data standards used to support critical insurance business insights, fiduciary processes, and data messaging between company’s internal systems. Oversee the implementation of Management Intelligence (MI) reporting and Data Quality (DQ) standards and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data. Lead the standardization of data integration approaches which promotes interoperability between different systems and different business applications. Standardize Data Definitions and create a common vocabulary to help eliminate ambiguity and ensure consistent understanding of data elements. Build Taxonomies which help to classify and organize data into hierarchal structures, enabling better data categorization and searching. Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments and business units to understand data needs, challenges and requirements and ensure review of Global Data Dictionary and Data Glossary, mapping activities between Data Capture and Consumption Applications. Document Data Lineage for all critical data elements identified and map it back to the source systems using the list of critical data elements. Support the establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify critical data elements which support those KPIs, and build operational model to have smooth process across the teams within the organization.
What you need to have:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any field plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered, or as an Operations Specialist/Manager, People Analytics/Projects Manager, HR Consultant, or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with all of the following: Utilizing Data Governance principles to create data dictionaries, taxonomies, and data mapping activities between Data Capture and Consumption Applications; Applying knowledge of physical and logical data models to advance data categorization and data lineage; Utilizing technical SQL queries to promote understanding of critical data elements, improve data standardization, and advance internal data quality; Utilizing software and technologies including Microsoft Office and Excel to conduct review of Global Data Dictionary and Data Glossary, mapping activities between Data Capture and Consumption Applications; Using sophisticated project management tools JIRA, Microsoft ADO, and Agile for project management.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $126,360 - $158,300 per year.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
