Senior Staff Accountant
Objective This position is responsible for performing a variety of high-level accounting tasks in a fast-paced multi-entity environment. Duties include working closely with accounting support staff to answer vendor and customer questions as needed. Accounting software is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Essential functions Performs full-charge accounting services to include: + Review and understanding of customer Billing process + Monitoring cash activity and Treasury functions/bank reconciliations + Review of expenses and assisting with cash disbursements + Oversight of account collections, cash application and metric reporting + Sales and use tax reporting + Payroll review and posting + Balance sheet reconciliations + Assisting with monthly & year-end closing, including financial reporting + Budget preparation + Knowledge and working with contract setup & management; customer portal compliance + Knowledge and working with setup of customers and vendors + Other various accounting tasks as assigned Requirements Position Requirements The minimum position requirements are: · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance · Minimum of 5 years of full-charge accounting experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central desirable. · Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures. Exhibit good communication skills. · Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. · Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. · Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems. · Outlook Excel, automated accounting software proficiency. · Telephone communication skills.
