Senior Staff Accountant
The Senior Staff Accountant works with our professional accounting staff and management team members in recording, reconciling, and auditing accounting data. The ability to efficiently manage workload and prioritize tasks to ensure that all deadlines are met is essential. This role involves working closely with the current accountant and bookkeepers throughout the other divisions. Responsibilities + Invoice entry and processing + Producing and analyzing financial reports + Reviewing financial reports for trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. + Balance sheet preparation + Quarterly reporting and month-end reconciliations + Ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls by working with business partners + Working directly with the CFO and CEO + Handling ad-hoc projects as necessary Additional Skills & Qualifications + Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements + Account Reconciliation: Experience in reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records + Microsoft Excel Expertise: Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting + Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Ability to work effectively in a team environment + Journal entry + Accounts payable + Audit + QuickBooks experience + Strong Excel knowledge (Vlookups, Hlookups) + B.S. or M.S. in Accounting or related field Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
