Senior Staff Assistant
**9317BR** **Position Title:** Senior Staff Assistant **Organization:** VP for Research **Job Responsibilities:** Intellectual Property Management Office(IPMO): + Monitor IPMO Email accounts for non-legal questions, update and maintain Sophia database, work with Director on streamlining requests. + Work with Director to administer Sophia software, and maintain the financial tracking system. + Administrative support for OVPR Division and operations; performing general administrative duties including answering phone/emails, mail, inquiries, organizing and filing contracts/documentation as needed, calendaring and clerical support. + Gathering and circulating important information pertaining to the Division including University communications, meeting dates/time invitations, planning and coordinating meetings as requested. + Coordinate purchasing and ordering support for initiatives + Utilize Oracle to provide financial and budgetary support to IPMO and other OVPR areas as needed. Utilize Oracle A/R to invoice customers and monitor payments. + Execute and assist with financial transactions within the Division including, but not limited to invoicing, purchasing, Paymentnet, IPF’s, TER’s, expense reimbursement and budget reconciliations. + Serve as backup for student hiring and scheduling, liaison with SEO, monitoring and facilitating of Kronos, and reporting to management as needed. + Assist with Scheduling, coordination and execution of multiple events through the year. + Provide support and training to Division on appropriate processes and transactions + OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED **FLSA Category:** Non-exempt **Requisition Number:** 9317BR **College/Division:** VP for Research **Required Application Documents:** Cover Letter, Curriculum Vitae or Resume **Employment Category:** Fulltime **Additional Details:** In compliance with NYS's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is listed above. The position interfaces with all of the colleges and administrative units of RIT and functions as a representative of the Office of the Vice President for Research. **Hourly/Salary Minimum:** 16 **Hourly/Salary Maximum:** 25
