What you'll bring
+ 8+ years of experience across the core analytics workflows - data ingestion, extraction, transformation, exploration, visualization and predictive modeling.
+ Proficient in using cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud) for scalable data storage, computation, and AI model deployment.
+ Advanced skills in Python and SQL. Familiarity with big data languages like Scala or Java is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of large language models and familiarity with applying them in analytics, including fine-tuning models for specific business cases
+ Experience working with different data and analytics domains such as service operations, e-commerce marketplace, customer care, product, finance, and marketing.
+ Experience influencing at senior leadership levels and driving cross-functional teams
+ Ability to simplify stories with data and be concise in the insights and how they drive outcomes with leadership and stakeholders
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and critical deadlines
+ Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
+ Proactive and inquisitive learner... seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstances
+ Strong organization, time management, and task prioritization skills
+ Operate with an ownership mindset, and exhibit boundaryless leadership towards impacting outcomes.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, a related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred
How you will lead
+ Develop and lead the organization’s vision for analytics transformation using AI and GenAI, aligning with long-term business goals.
+ Lead data driven innovation by Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to optimize analytics workflows, decision-making processes, and business insights.
+ Identifying opportunities and influencing product development teams to act: You will partner with a cross-functional team to leverage data and technology to deliver better outcomes for customers and business partners.
+ Evaluate and iterate on analytics approaches and solutions, using performance feedback and technological advancements to refine and improve analytics processes.
+ Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
+ Assess third-party vendors and tools, leading evaluations for potential integration based on functionality, scalability, and business fit.
+ Present findings, evaluations, and actionable recommendations to executive leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.
+ Driving self-serve and data literacy of insights: You will create learning and measurement plans for experiments and campaigns to define instrumentation and data collection requirements. By partnering with data engineering to scale and automate analytics on new products and initiatives, you will build reports to drive discussions, facilitate decision-making, and provide actionable insights.
