PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.

Job DescriptionWe are responsible for the planning, installation, maintenance and improvement of the Manufacturing Information Technology, Digitalization, Data Warehouse, IT Security & Data Security & Privacy of our Semiconductor Testing facility in Penang (PgP5).
Being part of the team that managed the APF (Advance Productivity Family)of the plant. The APF is a suite of fully integrated software components developed to improve the design, analysis, and event-by-event operation of complex manufacturing facilities. APF can be targeted at solving multiple problems in your facility and is employed for reporting and dispatching, factory automation, or a combination of these goals.You will be trained as an expert in RTD, APF and the Activity Manager tool.Responsible for the APF Real Time Dispatching strategies.Using the APF Formatter, you will write dispatching rules to develop APF reports.Collect automation requirements and develop workflow automation frameworks that integrates multiple systems within a facility using the APF Activity Manager.Working with our counterparts from both locally and internationally in the Bosch Semiconductor IPN on APF topics as the Activity Manager expert.Design and implement modern fabrication control procedures.Optimize fabrication processes with focus on process-oriented organization and efficiency.Analyze and estimate KPIs within interdisciplinary teams.QualificationsPersonality: motivated, strong in communication, cooperative in working with colleagues and external parties, assertive personality, ready to travel on occasional business trips.Working Style: independent, result- and quality-oriented and reliable.Experience and Knowledge:o Good knowledge in control/optimization of material flow or event based distributed systems (e.g., Load Balancing, Grid Computing, Parallelization)
o Good programming skills in one high level programming language like Java or other with java comparable language.
o Good knowledge in SQL, XML and JSON.
o Good knowledge in webservices/soap technology
o Very good understanding of complex IT architecture.
o Experience in work with big data.
o At least 5 years’ experience with scope on information technologiesEnjoy working with people in interdisciplinary international teamsGood communication skills and immediate understanding of complex coherences.Enthusiasm: interdisciplinary thinking and interest in Leading Edge Semiconductor technology.Languages: good proficiency in English language.Education: Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or any comparable studies on IT.
