The Facilities Program team is a high-performing group of partners that defines and executes equipment, hard and soft services solutions that enable innovation, optimize financial value, and drive continuous equipment improvement into our stores. In this role you are directly helping to create the future store experience for our customers and partners.
As a senior standards specialist, you will…
Drive complex, cross-functional enterprise projects – supports facilities testing, development of standards and lifecycle sustainment models.
Develops continuous improvement programs for facility operations and maintenance - Applies current and emerging technologies for all current and evolving facilities systems.
Identifies opportunities and creates strategy to improve equipment performance - Analyze relative qualitative and quantitative data and insights to drive alignment and facilitate changes to maintenance programs for enterprise-wide cost savings.
Determines methods and data necessary to analyze equipment performance and improvement opportunities – data reporting that facilitates changes to maintenance programs for enterprise-wide cost savings.
Role models a positive and productive work environment - can easily adjust to team dynamics and shifting of priorities.
Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative work group, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
We’d love to hear from people with:
High school diploma/GED, US military service or equivalent
5 years working knowledge of facilities management
5 years working knowledge of soft services management
3 years project & program management in a cross-functional environment
3 years of experience with data analysis and business analytics
Ability to work across functional areas to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit objectives
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and thrive in ambiguity
Strong verbal and written skills

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
